During recent years, the Hanson Police Department has developed many specialized capabilities.  These Special Units have each been developed to address specific areas of concern.  Many of these concerns have been identified due to input from citizens, businesspersons, school department personnel, local government officials and members of the Hanson Police Department.  State and federal grant programs, in conjunction with business and school partnerships, have made much of the funding for equipment and training possible.  Please take some time to look around at our Special Units by using the navigation on the left of this page.  We welcome any suggestions or input that you may have concerning them.
